Fire in Pulau Gaya leaves more than 200 people homeless

KOTA KINABALU, March 12 — Fire broke out in the water village of Kampung Lok Urai, Pulau Gaya here, last night destroying 73 stilt houses and leaving more than 200 people homeless.

Fire engulfs 30 stilt houses in Pulau Gaya

KOTA KINABALU, March 12 — About 30 stilt houses in the water village of Kampung Lok Urai, Pulau Gaya here are still engulfed in a fire believed to have started at about 8.30 pm yesterday.
